Terms of Service

GSTExtract ("the Service") is operated by Ritusmoi Kaushik, a sole proprietor based in Guwahati, Assam, India. By accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GSTExtract extracts structured data (GSTIN, invoice number, date, amounts, taxes) from GST invoices using an AI model, with an automated math-verification layer that flags low-confidence fields. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

2. No Warranty of Accuracy — You Must Verify

Extraction is automated and may contain errors. You are solely responsible for checking every extracted value before relying on it, particularly for accounting, GST filing, tax, or any financial or legal purpose. The Service is a convenience tool and not a substitute for professional review by a chartered accountant or tax advisor.

3. Accounts

Some features require an account, created via Google sign-in. You are responsible for activity under your account. One person or business should not operate multiple accounts to abuse free credits. We may suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Credits & Payments

  • The Service uses prepaid credits. One credit = one invoice extracted.
  • New signups receive a one-time allotment of free credits. Credit packs may be purchased at the prices shown on the Pricing page (all-inclusive, in Indian Rupees). Ritusmoi Kaushik is not currently registered under GST, so prices include no GST and we issue a payment receipt — not a GST tax invoice — for each purchase.
  • Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. Unused credits expire at the end of the validity period.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not store your card or bank details.

5. Refunds & Cancellation

Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; upload data you do not have the right to process; attempt to disrupt, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service; or resell the Service without permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ritusmoi Kaushik shall not be liable for any accounting discrepancies, filing errors, tax penalties, lost profits, or other indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to us in the 3 months preceding the claim (and is zero for free usage).

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ritusmoi Kaushik from any claim arising out of your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, including uploading data you had no right to process.

9. Availability & Discontinuation

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time. If we permanently discontinue the paid Service, we will, where reasonably practicable, give notice and refund unused, in-validity purchased credits on a pro-rata basis.

10. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on Google (Gemini for extraction; Google Sign-In) and Razorpay (payments). Your use is also subject to their terms. See our Privacy Policy for data handling.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Guwahati, Assam, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
